Founded in 2019, AA Xpress has fast become one of the most reputable and reliable transport and logistics services in the North-East. The company currently acts as a “one stop shop” for all commercial and personal transport, logistics, and storage needs.

The company’s services include (but are not limited to): same day delivery, track and trace, supply and kitting services, emergency collections and deliveries, and the collection of items from anywhere in the UK. The company is currently located in a 10,000 square foot warehouse in the North-East, where they offer secure warehousing and storage services.

A family-run business with 20+ years’ experience behind them, AA Xpress prides itself on unparalleled devotion to customer service and satisfaction. The company operate on a 24 hour, 365 days a week basis, and are always on hand to provide their clientele with the best and most personal service possible.

Within the coming years, it is AA Xpress’ mission to become one of the leading national transport and logistic services in the UK. Currently, the company employs 30+ staff and owns an impressive fleet of 20 vans, but it is their goal to multiply this resource to bring their style of in-house and dependable service to as many businesses and people as possible.

With this in mind, in 2021 AA Xpress began to bid for government contracts to diversify their customer base and grow their business through the public sector.

To do this, AA Xpress enlisted the help of OPPORTUNI, a leading solution for sourcing, reviewing, and bidding for government contracts. Following this, AA Xpress were awarded a valuable contract as a supplier for a public health contract to package and compile medical supplies.

More recently, AA Xpress have been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s RM6282 – Storage, Distribution, Kitting & Associated Services framework.

AA Xpress has been named as a supplier on framework lots as follows:

• Lot 3b – Kitting and Fulfilment Solutions and Services
• Lot 4a – Residential Collections and Drop off Points
• Lot 4b – Specialist Collection and Delivery Services.

Although AA Xpress are committed to providing fast and secure service to their customers, they are also committed to the greater positive social and environmental aspects of the communities they serve. By 2050, the company has committed to achieving Net Zero emissions. Through their carbon reduction plan, they are targeted to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2041. To achieve this goal, AA Xpress has pledged to change their feet to electric vehicles, carry out energy efficiency measures within their building to reduce consumptions, implement green commute to work schemes, install solar panels on their premises, purchase renewable electricity, and implement green policies for business travel as well as waste stream improvement guidance. The company also host regular stand-up meetings as a way to educate staff on the effects of climate change and encourage small changes for a larger impact.

AA Xpress have demonstrated their commitment to improving social value within their local area through their adoption of the National TOMS framework and the Social Value Portal, as well as their involvement with multiple charitable and community action initiatives. The company founders and employees regularly donate to their local foodbank, and afford their staff paid leave to volunteer at the bank as part of their VTO policy. The company also gives monthly donations to the Teenage Cancer Trust as a way of giving back to young people during and after treatment. AA Xpress were also recently conferred with a bronze award as part of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). This award is presented to businesses who have pledged support to the armed forces and practice an ethos of being armed-forces friendly through employing reservists, armed forces veterans, cadet instructors, and military spouses/partners.
